Terms & Conditions

The general rules that apply when you visit our website or engage our services.

1. Using our services

Welcome to Home Evolution Studio. These Terms & Conditions explain the basic rules that apply when you browse our website, contact our team, request information, schedule a consultation, or engage us for home improvement services. By continuing to use the website or proceeding with a service request, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms. The website is intended to provide information about our services and make it easier to communicate with our team. Specific projects may also be governed by a separate written agreement that contains project-specific requirements, pricing, schedules, warranties, and responsibilities. If a signed project agreement conflicts with these general terms, the project agreement will control for that particular work.

2. Project consultations

Information submitted through the website helps us understand what you are looking to accomplish, but an online inquiry does not automatically create a service contract. We may ask questions about your property, preferred finishes, approximate dimensions, desired improvements, budget considerations, and timing. Consultations are intended to help determine whether the requested work is appropriate for your property and whether our services are a good fit. We may decline a project when the requested work falls outside our capabilities, scheduling availability, or applicable requirements. Any recommendation provided during an initial conversation is based on the information available at that time and may change after a more detailed review.

3. Project scope

Every renovation or home service project has its own requirements. The work we agree to perform will be based on the written scope, selections, specifications, and other documents associated with your project. Items that are not specifically included should not be assumed to be part of the service. If additional work becomes necessary because of conditions discovered after work begins, we will discuss the situation with you and, where appropriate, provide an updated scope or change authorization before proceeding. This helps both sides maintain a clear understanding of what is being completed and what remains outside the original agreement.

4. Property conditions

Renovation work can uncover conditions that could not reasonably be identified before surfaces are opened or existing components are removed. Examples may include concealed moisture, damaged framing, outdated wiring, plumbing issues, unsuitable substrates, pest-related damage, or other conditions hidden from ordinary inspection. When an unexpected condition materially affects the project, additional time, labor, materials, or professional services may be required. We will communicate significant discoveries as soon as reasonably practical and work with you on an appropriate path forward. Existing conditions that are outside the agreed scope are not automatically included in the original project price.

5. Client responsibilities

A successful project requires cooperation from both sides. You agree to provide accurate information, make required selections within the requested timeframe, provide reasonable access to the work area, and communicate relevant property restrictions or requirements. Please tell us about known building rules, access limitations, alarm systems, fragile belongings, pets, or other circumstances that could affect the work. You are responsible for removing valuable, fragile, or personally important items from active work areas unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing. Delays caused by unavailable access, late decisions, or incomplete client responsibilities may affect the project schedule.

6. Materials & selections

Materials, fixtures, finishes, and products may be selected by you, recommended by us, or specified within your project agreement. Product availability can change, and manufacturers may discontinue items, modify specifications, or experience supply delays. If an approved selection becomes unavailable, we may suggest a comparable alternative for your consideration. Any meaningful change in material, product, or finish that affects the project cost or scope will be communicated before it is incorporated. Once special-order materials have been purchased or fabricated, cancellation or return options may be limited according to the applicable supplier's policies.

7. Scheduling & project delays

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the schedule communicated for your project, but construction schedules can be affected by circumstances outside our direct control. Weather, supplier delays, inspections, permit requirements, labor availability, concealed property conditions, client-requested changes, and other unforeseen events may require adjustments. When a significant schedule change occurs, we will communicate the reason and provide an updated expectation where possible. A projected completion date should not be interpreted as an unconditional guarantee unless your written project agreement expressly states otherwise.

8. Payments & project changes

Payment amounts, deposits, milestone schedules, and final balances are determined by the applicable project agreement. You agree to make payments when they become due. If you request additional work, substitute materials, design revisions, or other changes after the original scope has been approved, those changes may affect the total price and completion schedule. We may require written approval before beginning additional work. Keeping changes documented helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures that both parties have a shared record of the revised project expectations.

9. Care, safety & warranties

We take reasonable steps to maintain an organized and safe work environment and to protect areas surrounding active construction. You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions and keep unauthorized people away from restricted work areas. Children and pets should remain outside active construction zones unless specifically permitted. Any workmanship warranty applicable to your project will be described in the written agreement or warranty documentation. Manufacturer warranties, when available, apply according to the manufacturer's own terms. Warranty coverage may not extend to damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized alterations, normal wear, neglect, or conditions unrelated to our workmanship.

10. Website content

Our website may contain photographs, descriptions, project examples, design ideas, service information, articles, graphics, and other materials intended to help visitors understand our work. Examples shown online may not represent the exact result, materials, dimensions, or specifications of another project. Colors and finishes can also appear differently depending on screens, lighting, photography, and product batches. Website content may be updated or removed without notice. You may view the website for personal and informational use, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially reuse our original content without permission.

11. Third-party services

Some projects may involve manufacturers, specialty trades, suppliers, designers, inspectors, permitting authorities, delivery providers, or other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms, warranties, schedules, or requirements. We will coordinate third-party involvement when it forms part of our agreed scope, but we cannot guarantee the independent performance, availability, pricing, or policies of an outside provider. Where another party is responsible for a particular product or service, the applicable third-party terms may apply.

12. Responsible use

You agree not to use our website to submit false information, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious material, impersonate another person, or use our contact forms for unlawful or abusive purposes. We may restrict access to the website or decline communications that reasonably appear to involve misuse, fraud, harassment, or security concerns. Nothing in these terms requires us to continue a service relationship where doing so would create an unreasonable safety, legal, or operational concern.

13. Limitation of responsibility

We aim to provide dependable services and clear communication, but no website or renovation process can eliminate every possible uncertainty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or conditions caused by events outside our reasonable control, inaccurate information supplied by a client, unauthorized changes, third-party failures, or pre-existing property conditions outside the agreed scope. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any responsibility or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Updates to these terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices, or applicable requirements. When updates are made, the revised version may be posted on this website with a new effective or updated date. Your continued use of the website after revised terms are posted indicates your acceptance of the updated website terms. Changes to an already signed project agreement will not automatically modify that agreement unless the parties separately agree to the change.

15. Questions?

If anything in these Terms & Conditions is unclear, we would rather explain it than leave you guessing. Email us at support@homeevolutionstudio.com. We are happy to discuss questions about our website, services, project process, or the terms that apply to your work.
